BanglarBhumi Conversion Application 2025 - Apply Online

People of Bengal can do land conversion on any property or land in West Bengal state (Apply West Bengal Land Conversion). Citizens can apply for land conversion online using the BanglarBhumi portal. (also do land mutation applications online)

Providing some information about the land and uploading documents can make land conversion easy for citizens. Users can submit their application to Conversion their property or land by paying some fixed fee to the government.

Apply for Land Conversion in West Bengal

On the BanglarBhumi portal, anyone can start a new land conversion application with some details and documents. Please follow the below steps:

Step 1. Visit the BanglarBhumi portal: https://banglarbhumi.gov.in/ and login to your account.

Step 2. Go to the “Citizen Services” section and click on the “Online Application” option. Now click on the “Conversion Application” from the dropdown list.

Step 3. After opening the Conversion Application form, select District, Block, and Mouza details. Now you have to complete 4 sections, one by one:

1. Particulars of the Applicant
2. List of Enclosures
3. Processing Fee Structure
4. Sop for Disposal of Conversion

Every section is important to complete the conversion application.

Step 4. Particulars of the Applicant

In this particular the applicant form with the details of applicants like applicant type, Khatian number, name, address, conversion purpose, mobile number, gender, Adhaar number, and other details.

Step 5. List of Enclosures

In the List of Enclosures section, you have to upload documents (the document must be in PDF format and a maximum of 2 MB in size)

• Copy of mutation certificate/copy of current record-of-rights
• Copy of current rent receipt
• Sketch map showing the plot in question with side measurement and its surroundings, including approach road (may not be to scale)
• Affidavit in Form 1B for creation of compensatory water body (Applicable in cases where the application relates to change or conversion of the land having water body of any description or size)
• Copy of no objection certificate of the West Bengal Pollution Control Board (Applicable only in such cases wherever such certificate is required)
• Copy of Detailed Project Report (DPR) duly vetted by the Competent Authority (Applicable only in cases where the application relates to change, conversion or alteration of land for industrial, commercial, or housing complex)

Step 6. Processing Fee Structure

In this section, you can know the fee amount for bastu, patit, industrial and commercial, ponds or water bodies, and any other land and property conversion application.

Step 7. Sop for Disposal of Conversion

The section of Sop for Disposal of Conversion provides some important information about the conversion application. When you check all the details and fill out the Captcha code, submit the application to complete the application.

After completing the conversion application, the applicant received an application number for future uses, like checking the conversion application status online.
